welcome to my journey CCSVI/MS
Am new to this so advice is greatly appreciated :)
Iv lived with MS now 11yrs, was dx offically Juy 04, neuro said iv had it for years, so yeah thats that outa the way.......................... now this new CCSVI procedure !!!! wow.
Actually made the decision on Monday 7th June, emailed the clinic in Dublin regarding Doppler scan, then decided with getting now reply that I would ring them. Well am off to Dublin tomorrow, Sat 12th june, getting scan done at 6.30 pm GMT.
Living with MS has been hard going, my children were 7 & 2 when I was told, even thou I had lived with it since auag 2000, it is so difficult to understand unless you have been there.
Single mum, 2 school age children, being told that this will stay with me forever, boy I was sooo angry, I wanted to scream and punch but I knew that wouldnt make any diffference.
Kids now 17 & 12, so they are at the age were they will be understanding why I want to , no not want to, HAVE to , I have to find out if my viens are blocked and then take it from there.
Following a few people who have gone thru the procedure "LIBERATION"
Come Saturday I will find out if I have CCSVI and take things from there,
I will be updating this blog with what I have lived with the last 10 years and hope that it will be of some comfort to others who have just been dx`d.
